Magic Max Hit Calculator

This calculator lists all combat magic spells and their max hit.

Unlike warrior or ranger, magers max hit depends on the spell you use.
Magic Attack Bonus has no effect on your max hit, it does however affect the accuracy of the hit.

Magic Level plays the most important role when determining your max hit, because each new level unlocks a new stronger spell and makes existing spells more accurate.

There are only a few exceptions to this:

Magic Dart spell follows a specific formula to determine max hit:

10 + (your magic level / 10)

Chaos Gauntlets increases max damage of all bolt spells by 3.
You can get these gauntlets as a reward from Family Crest Quest.

Charge - you need magic level 80 to cast this spell.
Charge temporarily increases max hit for 3 all god spells. You must be wearing mage arena God Cape too.

Another useful feature of this calculator is that it shows the total cost of runes it takes to cast that spell.

The price of each rune is updated automatically every day from the official Runescape Grand Exchange Price List.
You can also change the price of each rune the way you want.
