Runescape Chat Channel Directory

Runescape Clan Chat Directory - the purpose of this project is to collect information about the active chat channels in RuneScape. I came up with the idea from a thread in the official Runescape forums [The Chat Channel Directory] and decided to make it more automated and interactive.

Note:on April 13, Jagex released a massive update aimed at providing a better support for clans. Since then, clan chat tab has been changed to Friends Chat and the new, invite only, chat system has been named Clan Chat. To clarify - we're only tracking public channels that are accessed through Friends Chat interface. Clan channels are being tracked separately by Jagex at Runescape.com

Largest Runescape Chat Channels
So far we are tracking over 400 channels, which makes this by far the largest and the most up-to-date clan chat directory.
The ranks of clan chats on this page are a pretty good indication of their real ranks among all clan chats even though some channels haven't yet been discovered by us.
The table below lists the most popular clan chat channels on Runescape in a descending order. The only limitation is that we can list and index only those channels that are open to public - meaning that anyone can join regardless of their rank. Channels that cannot be accessed by unranked players will not be visited or ranked..


The system is still in the development stage and we welcome any ideas that could help us make this project better! Feel free to submit or advertise any clan channels that we haven't discovered yet but make sure that the clan is accessible by everyone.
