Forum FAQ Ideas

Works has begun on constructing a FAQ page for the forums; your input will help us make it truly effective. If you have an idea for a q/a in the forum faq, post it here!

Alright, I think you should keep the Helms and do the order like this, Bronze med, Bronze Full, Iron med, Iron Full, etc. etc. etc. It would make more sence that way because as I would see the helms, I would think worse to best, and I dont think a Bronze Full Helm beats a Rune Med Helm. As for the points, make the requirement of posts a bit higher at least, I merely joined yesterday and I'm RIPPING though the ranks.

Back to the original idea of what are possible ideas, perhaps you could use something other than helms and shields? Maybe you could use the Bandos chestplate and tassets with the Armadyl chestplate and skirt as a design for those with an extremely high amount of posts? I have so many ideas as to what could be used lol, I just don't want to list them all.

The goal is to make all of the ranks uniform...and, head gear/shields are best for that...we might change the ranks eventually...I have to talk to the other admins about our plan there...

i got an idea for a category "item lending" or something along those lines really dont wana think to much on it right now lol

^ sounds like a start lol, if you could talk a bit more about it that'd be nice. Sounds like a good idea so far.

lol it would be a fourm so people could see if anyone is lending or wants to lend an item and for how long how much ect

That probably won't be very effective until we have more people; I'll keep it in mind though.

but my idea was that there could be a Rules Topic/forum. Under (in) it there could be a list of what's acceptable language, what's considered spamming, what is what is allowed to be talked about, etc etc...

There could be an entire forum dedicated to this (under which perhaps there could be a report center, each with it's own category of what to report. Ex. One could be for reporting spam, the other could be for inappropriate language, etc etc...).

What would you guys think of that whole idea though?

sounds like a good idea, which we can get working on but with reporting posts for language and spam there is a little ! next to quote and edit (your own posts) this button is to report posts which you think is not suitable for where it is or what is written. once clicked this us mods/admins can sort out saving us reading every single post.

What about like we have a place to put like for example.


Example"I NEED 1k LOBBYS BUYN MAX IN GE" or something like that.
Example 2"BUYN SARA SWORD MAX IN TRADE" a section where u can shout out wat items u need. by shout out i mean post what u need

for the FAQ, can you add a question about what happens if you violate the rules for the forums? Or you could add that in the rules, not sure which you'd prefer.
