Barrows Using The Slayer Dart Method

Hello daring adventurers. Have you ever felt the need to fight a family of deadly warriors to the death and dash though their tunnels till you find a chest to loot? If so, this minigame and guide is just for you! Here I well explain to the best of my ability how to do the Barrows Mini-Game with the Slayer Dart Method. I will try to include tips, tricks, and FAQ by many RuneScapers. This guide is pretty long but it's to show EVERYTHING I know about Barrows and this method. I have personally done this method and it gets me 3-4 runs, making me a good profit. I hope you enjoy the guide and I hope it helps you!

How to go at it...

1st: Go to the Northeast hilltop and wear your void clothing and put the Slayer Dart on autocast. Dig and turn on your Melee Protection/Deflect. Then click on the coffin. Dharok will appear. Keep on hitting him untill he dies and DO NOT turn off your prayer untill you see him fall to the ground.
Special Affect: The lower his HP is, the harder he hits, that's why you ALWAYS need to pray vs him.

2nd: Switch to your Torag's and run to the most Southern hilltop. Turn off your slayer dart autocast and switch to your Abyssal Whip. Dig down, turn on your range Protection/Deflect and search the coffin. Karil will appear, he is accurate so keep your prayer on. He should die fairly quickly.
Special Affect: He drains your Agility as the fight goes on.

3rd: If you have 45+ prayer left, switch to your Void armour, if not, stick with Torag's. Move to the Southeast hilltop and go back to your Slayer dart, turn to autocast, etc. Dig down and use what prayer you have left to Protect/Deflect from Melee. Search the coffin and Guthan will appear. Prayer isn't needed but it does help.
Special Affect: Sometimes when he hits you, whatever he hits on you goes to heal his HP.

4th: Wear your void armour and move to the middle hilltop. Equip your Dragon Dagger p++ and turn your special attack on. Dig down and open the coffin and Ahrim will attack you. Use your special attacks on him then switch to your Whip until he is dead.
Special Affect: He drains your Strength as the fight goes on.

At this point, it doesn't matter who you fight next.

Torag: Go to the Southwest hilltop and dig down with your Torag's on and your slayer darts ready. He is the easiest of all brothers and is fairly easy to kill.
Special Affect: Sometimes when he hits, he drains your Run energy.

Verac: Go to the Nothwest hilltop and dig down with your Torag's on and your slayer darts ready. Verac is not to be underestimated. Kill him as quickly as possible and get out of there
Special Affect: Verac can sometimes HIT THOUGH PRAYER AND ARMOUR; a very dangerous foe.

During steps 1-6, you will find a hidden passage instead of a brother. After killing all of the 5 other brothers, head down. You will be in this room with 4 doors. Your goal is to get to the middle room with the chest in it. Only 1 of 4 doors surrounding that chest room will have a puzzle door, which is the door you need to get to. After running around you will find this door that you can finally open. Click on it (while not being attacked) and a puzzle will appear. The puzzles are just simple pattern puzzles. Example: One of the puzzles shows 3 pictures of a rising grey bar. The heights are Low, Medium/low, Medium/high. The next bar place and the correct answer is the picture with the bar in the highest part of the square. WARNING: If you fail a puzzle, ALL of the doors in the Barrows WILL reset, making you have to find the puzzle door again.

Once you got it right, move forward, you will find the chest. Move to the front of the chest and click it ONCE. The remaining Barrows brother should appear, kill him off as if you were just following the 1-6 step process as usual. Once dead, click the chest, hope for a good loot, and run out the way you came. Once completely out, if you have enough supplies for another run, drink 3 doses of your prayer pots and repeat, if not, restock.

Questions and Answers

Q: Does the Ring of Wealth increase my chance of a Barrows item?
A: No, Jagex has comfirmed that the Ring of Wealth does not help you with your chances.

Q: Your equipment sounds like it could make you lose a lot of Magic attack bonus, does it?
A: It does put it in the negitives but fear not, the Slayer Dart is VERY accurate vs 4 out of the 6 brothers.

Q: Why is Void better than Black D'Hide while Barrowing....?
A: It's because Void has almost the same defence bonus stats as the D'Hde except Void Armour doesn't reduce your magic attack bonus stats, making you much more likely to hit.

Q: Do I HAVE to kill all the brothers to stand a chance getting a Barrows item?
A: No. How it works is when you kills a brother, you gain a 1% chance to get an item. So if you kill all of them, you have a 6% chance of a Barrows item. It is highly reccommended to kill all of them for a maximum chance of a Barrows item.

Q: What does the killcount affect?
A: It affects the chance of getting more and better runes from a loot, nothing else.

Q: I have a Void Mage Helmet and Void Gloves, is it better to replace your Neit. Helm, Barrows Gloves, and bank the Torags all together for better trips?
A: Well, this is a tricky answer. I personally find this better, you have 2 extra inventory spaces and I get about 1 or 2 more loots per normal run, but, there are two things that make this option a bit less reccommended. 1. You have to keep your defence stats very high, and since all of your best armour slots are fulled with void, it makes this difficult. You would basically need a DFS to fill a piece of that large gap of defence lost. 2. Unless you already have the gloves, like magic, or like Pest Control, it's not too reccommended.
